well it was sad
but roy passed away
and there was a nice cruse set up for him at the dog stand down town watson
it was warming seeing people gather in support of a fallen rider
and his family

choptime

its funny how one little part can hold you back from
lots of progress
i needed to install neck races for the forks
and i was stupid and tried almost successfully
to get them in by hammering them in with a 2x4 and a hammer
dumb.....
but my Buddie Jason gave me an idea for press fitting
it worked great
got the bike of the stand

two wheels makes it a bike
way more motivating

the 65

i traded a car that didn't run for one that did
that car was a 1965 gmc long bed with the v6 305 4 speed
granny low
it started every time and was a beat up rusted out tank
no power steering
rare power brakes i could not understand the method they used
for grating a brake boost
it didn't like to stop
once i bought my new gmc i sold it to pick ad pull for $200
reg was up and the brakes needed to be done and it was my third truck
later did i find our i should of just kept it
i was ruff but use full
moves things around well
you know
no smog
it was a beast

fxr dreams

i love the fxr
someday i would like to build or own one
they have a appeal that is more than a aesthetic
purpose driven machines of freedom
i also admire a certain group of riders that made them popular
that just ads to the mystique and flavor
here is a collection of photos i have stolen from every moto site on the interweb
long live the fxr

fxrp, p for police

i really like the police styled fxrp

more fxr's to come periodically

four wheeled heartbreak

i have owned my fair share of cars during my short lifetime
all of them i have loved but laked the experience to hold onto them.
only recently am i learning what i takes to maintain a car
they don't fix themselves.

I'm going to try and go over each car i have had
this is an Internet memorial
starting with the most recent

my friends john chris and mike galli built this truck
is an 82 gmc c-10
new crate 350
rebuilt everything
mike did a lot of fab work on it
including a louvered tailgate and roll pan
c-notched the frame
custom grill,  injection hood etc
i got the opportunity to buy it from chris
and its been wonderful to me
i personally witht hte help of pat and morgan installed new leaf springs
and 2"lowering blocks in addition to the flip kit mike installed
i got steel rims and white walls
and recently had 2" drop spindles and spring installed

as of lately i think the head gasket was blown. i attribute this to my neglect of the cooling system
and on two separate occasions my motor turned off while driving
this photo my wife took as she was getting a tow the second time it happend to her
as u can see the body is straight and beautiful

befor the dropped front end

my goal is to keep this truck running as my daily driver
for an idefenate amout of time
hopefully i can do this
